2009 Prom Pledge

Teens – please read and sign the prom pledge card.

This 2009 Prom, I pledge respect and care of myself and my friends by:
? Wearing a seat belt any time I am in a vehicle.
? Pledging not to drink alcohol or use drugs before, during, or after prom. I also will not get into a vehicle with anyone who has had any amount of alcohol or drugs.
? I will be a true friend and encourage those around me to be alcohol and chemical free.
? If I find myself in a compromising situation, I promise to call my parents or a safe adult who can help me.

? Requiring seat belt use anytime your teen is in a vehicle.
? Prohibiting any use of alcohol or drugs and agreeing not to provide these items to my teen or their friends.
? Reminding my teen never to get into a vehicle with anyone who has had any amount of alcohol or drugs.
? Setting up a plan in the event my teen finds themselves in a compromising situation so they know they can always call home or a safe adult contact.
