Teen Driving

Getting a driver’s license and the keys to the car is one of the most exciting times for a teenager. Freedom! Independence! Adventure! Unfortunately it can also be risky and dangerous.

Teen drivers are involved in more crashes than any other age group. They are inexperienced, likely to be distracted with friends in the car, and take extra risks when they are behind the wheel; all of which can contribute to their risk of being involved in a crash. In Wright County 25 teens have been killed in the last 10 years and 2000 have been injured.
